Jin’s Korean BBQ is working on a third Las Vegas Valley location. According to the brand’s tax and accounting team, which handles many Spring Mountain eateries, Jin’s Korean BBQ is working on a third location license, and the interior work should be done this month.

At the helm of the opening is owner Kyung MoonWhat Now Las Vegas briefly spoke with Moon, who confirmed the opening and shared that the community can expect a summer opening.

“I lived in Hawaii for more than 20 years, and this style of restaurant is very popular there. Since there is a large Hawaiian community in Las Vegas, I knew many people would appreciate this concept. That is why I decided to open Jin’s Korean BBQ here,” Moon said.

“It’s been about two years since we opened our first location. Today, not only Hawaiians but also many local residents have become loyal customers and really enjoy our food. Because of the strong support we’ve received, we are currently building our third location, which is scheduled to open in August 2026.”

There are currently two Jin’s Korean BBQ restaurants serving the Las Vegas Valley, one on West Lake Mead and another on West Tropicana. Affordable Tax & Accounting‘s Brian Lee works with many of the eateries in the region and shared the news.

The new Jin’s Korean BBQ is expected to open at 470 E Windmill Ln, Suite 115.

“Jin’s Korean BBQ is a Korean plate lunch restaurant where customers choose their own combination of meats and side dishes. We offer two plate sizes: Regular and Mini,” Moon said.

“One of the unique features of our restaurant is that we have 15 different Korean side dishes (banchan), and customers can choose whichever side dishes they want to enjoy with their meat.”

Jin’s Korean BBQ is a popular local eatery known for large portions of value-driven Korean comfort food plates and sides. The concept focuses on humble, high-value meat plates, traditional sides, and rice rather than a massive corporate franchise framework. Grilling marinated meats traces back thousands of years to the ancient maekjeok skewer dishes of the Goguryeo and Joseon eras. The interactive table-grill and buffet formats popularized globally evolved heavily through mid-20th-century culinary shifts.

While Jin’s Korean BBQ comes with traditional and authentic Korean appeal, the small, booming Las Vegas food chain isn’t a traditional Korean BBQ spot per se. Jin’s Korean BBQ is described as “Hawaiian Soul Food Korean BBQ Style.”

“The reason we named our restaurant Jin’s Korean BBQ is because my husband’s name is Jin. He creates all of the sauces and side dishes served at both our first and second locations,” Moon said.

“He always says, ‘If we take good care of our customers, they’ll recognize it and keep coming back.’ I completely agree with his philosophy, and I believe that’s one of the reasons we’ve been fortunate to grow.”
