Multifamily developer moving forward with CityPlace.
AMLI Residential, a multifamily developer, is moving forward with a long talked about apartment project at Roxboro and East Paces Ferry roads, near Lenox Square.
AMLI Monday submitted several building permit applications to City of Atlanta to lay the foundations for “Parcel A” and “Parcel D” of CityPlace, a planned apartment community of nearly 650 units.
An estimated $2,500,000 will be spent laying the foundation for Parcel A and an additional $1,825,000 for Parcel D’s foundation.
The AMLI CityPlace A development will be a five-story, 400 unit mid-rise with a 666 space precast parking structure on a 4.5 acre parcel bounded by East Paces Ferry Road and Roxboro Road.
Parcel D, the second phase of the project, will bring the community an additional 250 units.
“This project intends to serve the Buckhead community and offers first-class interior finishes comparable to or exceeding the market, and several amenities including a resort-style swimming pool, clubroom, business center and rooftop deck,” AMLI said in a “narrative description of work” earlier this year.
“The parking structure will be accessible from East Paces Ferry Road and the to be built Park Drive and all service uses will be concentrated on East Paces Ferry Road due to the severe grade change on the other adjacent roadways.”
Atlanta-based Smith Dalia is the architect behind the project, according to sketches earlier this year.
