“Welcome to The House that Beer Built Is Closed”
Charlie Mopps Public House, a sports bar located on Roswell road in Sandy Springs, was in full operation Sunday night and with out warning, is now closed.
Announced via Facebook yesterday at 10:44 a.m., the pub welcomed the Swami Gone Bananas band for their weekly Sunday night performance just hours before their closure.
Offering 85 beers on draft and another 150 bottled varieties paired with food, live music and TV’s for sporting events, the reason for the closure is currently unknown.
The only provided explanation from the owners can be found on the homepage of the Charlie Mopps website: “welcome to the house that beer built is closed.”
