Nigerian/Caribbean restaurant shutters.
Metro Fuxon, a restaurant fusion of Nigerian and Caribbean cuisine, is no longer in business.
The eatery which first opened in December 2011 has since vacated its space, at 554 Piedmont Avenue NE, and its phone service has been disconnected.
Metro Fuxon was funded by three Atlanta doctors, Dr. Tommy Ashdale, Dr. Makanjuola and Dr. Osinuga, according to the restaurant’s website.
No word on what will replace Metro Fuxon downtown.
