Midtown nightclub quietly closes.
Update (March 7, 2017): Metropolis’ Aurum To Become Blue India, an ‘Upscale’ Indian Restaurant
The “Shops At Metropolis” are mourning another loss.
Aurum Lounge, the ultra-nightclub laced in all-things gold, quietly closed its doors for good in May with a “Grand Closing Celebration” (we didn’t get an invite either.)
The nightclub housed in the street-level retail space at the Metropolis Condominiums joins several other closures in the past few years at the Midtown high rise including: Silk, Drew Lewis, Solarium, and La Tagliatella.
The condo building, at 939 Peachtree Street, is forever covered with “Pardon Our Progress” signage.
