Big Peach Running Company and Brookhaven Animal Hospital among soon-to-open tenants.
There’s momentum at Town Brookhaven.
The mixed-use development in the city of Brookhaven, situated on Peachtree Road, north of Lenox Square Mall and Phipps Plaza and adjacent to historic Oglethorpe University, released a progress report in a press release Friday.
The 460,000-square-foot project of big box retail, junior anchors, restaurants, boutiques, and apartments, announced five new tenants for 2013 in the report:
- Big Peach Running Company (4,130 SF)
- Brookhaven Animal Hospital (3,425 SF)
- Sugarboo Designs (2,564 SF)
- European Waxing Centers of America (1,737 SF)
- The Joint: The Chiropractic Place (1,138 SF)
“The Sembler Company has experienced increased growth in both new leases and retaining existing tenants across all our markets,” Steve Althoff, Sembler’s Senior Vice President of Leasing and Property Management, said in the release.
“New leases have increased by five percent from the prior year. Lease renewals have increased to over eighty-two percent renewal rate. We anticipate a similar increase over 2012 for 2013 and are optimistic for an even more robust retail mix at Town Brookhaven.”
In the fall of 2012, Town Brookhaven signed leases for Massage Heights (2,825 SF), Boneheads (2,489 SF), Eye Level Learning (1,535 SF), GNC (1,438 SF), Community & Southern Bank (1,409 SF; opening winter 2013) and Dress Up Boutique (2,291 SF).
