Mendocino Farms, a fast-casual restaurant chain founded in 2005 in Los Angeles, is getting ready to expand its presence in the area once again with a new location coming to Long Beach at 4201 McGowen Street, Site #205.

The company is getting ready to open a new location in the former home of Wahoo’s Fish Tacos in the Long Beach Exchange shopping mall, according to a recent liquor license application. This will be the second Mendocino Farms in Long Beach, following a Mendo To Go at 1388 Daisy Avenue, making this the first full-service restaurant in Long Beach for the company. It’s unclear when this location will open, but when it does, customers can expect creative sandwiches, salads, and seasonal dishes in a welcoming, community-focused environment.

Mendocino Farms is a fast-casual restaurant chain renowned for its chef-driven menu, which evolves every six to eight weeks. Their offerings include sandwiches, salads, soups, and bowls, all crafted with fresh, high-quality ingredients. Signature sandwiches and seasonal items showcase bold flavors and innovation, while the new Baja Green Goddess Salad introduces a permanent, Southwest-inspired option featuring chicken adobado or Impossible chorizo. Mendocino Farms operates 54 locations across California, Texas, and Washington, with several in San Diego.

Mendocino Farms is all about creating a welcoming space where guests can “Eat Happy.” Each location has a modern, eco-friendly vibe, complete with fun touches like foosball tables and neighborhood-inspired decor. The brand focuses on building community, aiming to be more than just a place to eat. With a refreshed look that features a new logo and incorporates bright blue and earthy tones throughout the design, Mendocino Farms embodies its commitment to quality, creativity, and connection to life in both its food and experience.
