July 8, 2026 · Miami

Waldorf Astoria is opening its first hotel in the Miami Beach. Hilton and Reuben Brothers plan to transform an existing beachfront hotel. The renovated hotel is expected to reopen in Winter 2027. Hilton and Reuben Brothers have announced their newest project in Miami Beach. An existing beachfront hotel on Collins Avenue will be renovated and rebranded. This will mark the luxury brand’s first hotel in the area. The hotel will join the Waldorf Astoria brand’s global portfolio once renovations are completed. It will also strengthen Hilton’s growing luxury presence in Florida. Hilton already operates more than 520 properties in the state. “This signing reflects the continued momentum of Hilton’s luxury portfolio growth in highly sought-after destinations across the Americas,” said Danny Hughes, president, Americas, Hilton. “With a growing Florida presence that now spans from Orlando to South Florida, our luxury brands continue to resonate with travelers seeking bespoke experiences. Miami Beach is a globally renowned locale with strong demand for elevated hospitality, and we are proud to partner with Reuben Brothers to introduce Waldorf Astoria in a way that both celebrates the city’s character and sets a new benchmark for modern luxury.”
